At least they will get a good draft pick. Maybe Lebron James.

BTW, I think Jon Koncak would be a great replacement for McDyess .

I know nothing about hockey -- what are the 4 columns for? (I assume Win, Loss, Tie,....)

(Since this is already a hijacked thread.. )

This sounds like a conspiracy to get LeBron James.

4th column is for overtime losses which are worth 1 point, as opposed to regulation losses which earn 0 points.

with the way things are going, maybe allan houston should just sit in a chair with a guard watching over him until the season starts.

I said at the draft that the Knicks should have kept Hilario and rebuilt instead of trading for a fragile PF.

I would gloat, but since I am a Knicks fan, we suck even worse now.

Hopefully we can get the #1 and draft James, but I'm sure we would just trade the pick for an aging undersized player with an enormous contract

That would be the only defense Allan Houston has ever had associated with him.

They give you points for losing? Maybe the Mets should try to switch sports.

My best friend is a HUGE Knicks fan. You should have seen his face when he saw this on Sportscenter.

Overtime losses should grant you a point, every team/player hated that you go to Overtime and lose to get nothing out of it,now bad teams have a chance to earn points makeing the league more tight and competive.

Who is good in the East this year besides the Nets?man the East is weak, maybe my bulls can win 40+ games,I can dream right?

before they switched to that rule the OT period was a total bore. both teams were too scared to lose the 1 point for a tie that they just played defensive hockey and never went for the win. now, with both teams guaranteed a point in OT they can actually go all out and try for the win. makes for a more exciting finish.
