Does it live up to the hype? Is it worth the price? Thanks in advance.

Very sweet. It plays very similar to resident evil (though less emphasis on puzzles).

The first half starts off kind of slow.....but the gameplay is tight!!! The second half of the game really picks up speed.....one hell of an ending!!! Buy it!!!

You may want to rent it first if you can. The gameplay is sweet and it is fun, but you can seriously beat it in 5 hours. The mini games it unlocked didn't interest me too much. Just a suggestion.

Really good, but as was said before, it's too short. Probably the shortest of Capcom's survival horror games.

It's definitely worth a purchase, especially if you like Capcom's other similiar games. However, the action and layout is much more refined and intuitive then the Resident Evil games, giving Onimusha a more action packed and faster paced experience.

Its true its a bit too short, i beat in about 4hrs and change. But still its a great game with a great ending. I say buy it, its the perfect game to get your feet wet for all the other games you'll see soon on the PS2.

I wish people would stop complaining about how short this title is in length.....I can beat all of the Resident Evil games in 4-5 hours but that does not mean much!!!

This is a great game...buy it and do not worry about how short it is!!! I am not expecting games such as this to keep me occupied for 30-50 hours as a good rpg would....can anyone say..... FFX????

I CAN beat all the Resident Evil games....

...in the same time (4-5 hours). Unfortunately, that's on my 2nd or 3rd tries through. I beat Onimusha in 5 hours on the 1st time through, which is pretty unacceptable to me.

Must... buy... Twisted Metal: Black.
