i can't stand VB code and it's very limited.. some boards that haven't allowed HTML also didn't allow it in the regular posts for some reason but since HTML is available in the regular posts why can't we get to use it in the signatures? atleast so that some of the more basic HTML tags can be used..

What do you want to put in your sig, <i>exactly</i>?

I guess you could always (carry on) do(ing) the "fake sig" thing, so long as it isn't something that slowed down or otherwise messed with the board in which case you might be <b>[BANNED]</b>!

From: Work. Or commuting. Certainly not at home.
I think the problem is that if you're gonna allow HTML, people are gonna be idiots and put redirects and other really annoying crap in their sig.

Basically if we added HTML in signatures it would allow people to easily do a lot of crap in their sigs that we would have to police.

The people who can figure out how to have a sharp sig with Vb Code generally aren't doning the kinds of things that create problems

too bad there isn't a [small] vB-tag for the same purpose as the < small > HTML-tag cause all i want is smaller text in my signature instead of having to add < small > at the end of every message.

isn't there a way to simply allow just certain HTML-tags?
