Best Buy is good for video games/CDs/DVDs but when it comes to speakers, DVD players, receivers--you can get much better prices online. But sometimes I don't trust the seemingly local mom & pop store in Brooklyn which offers the item I want for $50 less.

If I print out a webpage from one of these stores will I find a major chain who will pricematch them?

Thanks.

Sears

do a search for "sears" and "price match" (here or in DVD Bargains)

Yes, Sears definitely.

I sent an email to Sears about a week ago with the same question.

I got a phone call back from the manager of my local Sears, and he said that they do match online store prices, but the regional offices (I live in TX) require that the shipping cost that the online site charges has to be added into the price.

So if something was selling for $150 online with $20 shipping, Sears would match it for $170.

The best way to get a definite answer is to call your local Sears store and talk to the manager or call Sears headquarters to forward you to regional offices. The problem is that all regional offices are interpreting the price matching policy differently!

Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, I'll try that. Sears has what I want on their website. Worth a shot.
