Outstanding new series that premiered on Netflix on 11/13. I binged all 8 episodes in one night. Best show of 2025. I suspect it will get nominated for a ton of Emmys if not win most. Highly recommended.

I will check it out, but pump the brakes on the Emmy talk. It's got a 71 score on Metacritic. Hardly Shogun type review scores. Not even close to the scores that Pluribus got (84).

We'll see. At a minimum, Danes, Rhys, and the series will all get nominated.

We finished this up last night. It was good, not great. No real twists or turns. I'd give it a B- despite having a stellar cast.

When I said it might not get many Emmy nods, I thought it was a Drama Series. Knowing it was a Limited Series, it probably will get a bunch of nominations, as Limited Series seem to be in a funk right now. It got three Globe Nominations (but didn't win anything opposite Adolescence). It also picked up SAG nods for Danes and Rhys.
