Tonight there are some AMC early screenings (I'm going to this) and some Amazon Prime early screenings (don't know if you can still sign up for this).

Saw this last night. One thing about Luca is that he is definitely an actor's director. I love the performances he gets from his cast. This one is no exception, they did a fantastic job across the board. Story wise this is one of those who do you believe stories up until you get a pretty clear picture what happened but it takes a long time to get there and while not boring I left with a "well....ok" feeling. Once again, the cast kept this engaging. One thing that was really weird was the music - there was this jarring orchestral cue that seemed to happen for no reason. Technical-wise, the blocking of the actors and some of the camera work was really good.

I think I liked it, with the intentional ambiguity of the crime and the victim's intentions. I didn't think they needed the epilogue, it didn't tie things together at all, so not really helpful. Her husband was a great character, enjoyed his ability to be loving and loyal to someone who obviously doesn't reciprocate and has affairs and such.

This will be on Amazon Prime this Thursday

This wasn't really on my radar, but I will see it on Prime when I get a chance.
