Usually, I think the hype about interest in a movie and the quality of a movie before it opens is just that --hype. But I think people of all ages are interested in this, and if they hear it is worth going to the theater for it, watch out. I voted $150 million +

$150 million is the floor for this movie. The other choices in the poll are pointless.

I suppose Other could mean less than $50M. Or if everyone paid in Twislers or something.

If Al Roker's in, I'm in! $300 million opening weekend. $500 million if Willard Scott (RIP) had endorsed it.

My implication was supposed to be that if a 70 year old man loved this "comic book" superhero movie that much, imagine how people in the 25-44 demo will go for it.

The only thing that is going to limit the take on this is how many sears there are two sell. Adults still want to go to the movies and have a great time. They are just more cautious because great times are fewer and far between.

It'll probably bomb as hard as Furiosa with most folks holding out for streaming.

Looking at the seating for my Alamo Drafthouse through the weekend and a majority of the screens are packed. They have also added more showtimes in the last two days. This is gonna pull in the 190 mil range.

Wow... not surprised. Showings around me have been mostly sold out all weekend.

Going to see it today at a local theater. It's showing on half the screens, with showings starting every half hour. None seem sold out, but all showing have quite a few sold tix.
