Apparently when filming one of the sex scenes (on a closed set), Garfield and Pugh didn't hear the director say cut, and they were really into the scene and kept it going longer than intended. Sounds hot.

This may be Hollywood lore, but the director of Cleopatra allegedly had to shut off the camera during a make out scene with Taylor and Burton to avoid shooting a porno.

There are a lot of stories like that, another example is a scene between Bruce Dern and Maud Adams in Tattoo, where things supposedly went much further than intended.

Pugh and Garfield have great chemistry together. Easy to enjoy with two charming leads. Funnier than expected.
I’m curious how this will do at the BO when it opens wide next week. A lot of women were at my screening.

The stars are good, but I've never been a big fan of this kind of non-linear storytelling.
Also, Pugh is ten years too young for her character. It makes some of her issues ring false.

The sex scenes are hardly what I'd call "graphic". In Canada, this got rated PG.
Those scenes aren't even erotic, as the focus is on intimacy.
The birth sequence is one of the best single scenes I've seen this year.
