I like how A24 is using "The House Is Mine" in some of their social marketing.

In theatres this weekend.

Saw this blind. Similar to Afraid it's just over 80 minutes long, and I'm sure a lot of significant scenes were cut out. I felt more annoyed at the husband and wife for making so many stupid decisions, seemingly out of the blue (probably because of missing scenes that would have made them motivated), than I felt tension or suspense at them being victimized.

Eventually I had to laugh, because there is clearly a cut out scene where




The old lady certainly gives a bravura performance. However, so little happens, I'm sure people who've ever had to care for an elderly person in real life will have much worse stories.

Just saw it and can agree with Crocker. The movie seemed to float between wanting to be a comedy, a horror movie or a drama; Get Out pulled it off but this one didn't. I'd say don't waste your time with this one.

Saw this a week ago and I was curious about the same thing.

I thought I had fallen asleep and missed something. Though I actually did fall asleep for about 5-minutes early on in the film

Brandy's performance is solid as is Kathryn Hunter's (unhinged) performance but it's an absolute tonal mess that goes nowhere.

One of the worst films that I've seen this year by far.

This will be on Max January 3rd.
