Zac Efron has gotten so craggy-faced he looks like Willem Dafoe with six-pack abs.
I thought it was ok. It didn’t help that the “mom falls for a young celebrity” was recently done better in the Anne Hathaway movie. 2/5 stars

Just another mediocre rom-com that's an okay, relaxing watch.

Predictable in every second of the movie and it is really difficult to watch a movie with those plastic faces. Efron always looked a little bit ridiculous, since he's a way to muscular dwarf, but since his face surgery he barely registers as human, which Nicole Kidman isn't for years now. She just looks horrible and it takes me out of every movie or show she's in and with the exception of this stinker, she generally had very good taste in her projects in the last couple of years.

You're right. It reminded me of that old British show Spitting Image (most famous for the Land of Illusion video from Genesis. Everyone but King looked fake.
I thought it was dreadful and turned it off halfway through.

This was okay, but like others said not original. Had a 90s/2000s vibe.
I will say the Effron / Kidman character interactions felt really off. I think the age difference was a bit too much to take.
On the one hand felt like it needed to be longer to flesh out some plot points, but also it didn’t earn the extra time. The main character essentially didn’t have any growth except two “I’m sorry’s.” Glad she got such rewards for crappy behavior too all at the age of 25.
