Wow. This is true story of a stalker harassing a comedian was powerful. That's just the tip of the iceberg too. The comedian, Richard Gadd, turned his story into a play and now made it into a limited series. Comedians are doing some incredible raw works of art lately. (Gadsby, Carmichael). Highly recommended.
fun fact: the emails shown in the series are the exact ones he received.

I'm three episodes in, and this is very good.

Is this a drama or a doc?

Drama. It hits a lot of notes that would normally be uncomfortable for people, a little surprised to see it at #1 on Netflix.

Was fantastic. Went very different places than I though it would go to.

Is the title supposed to mean something?
It is very odd.

Binged watched it over the weekend. Interesting and quite disturbing. It was well-written and acted, some excellent storytelling here. But I needed to palate cleanser afterward, it was so depressing.

Ah, yes. The thread emoji. Classic "click my post and increase my engagement numbers" mentality. Remember the good old days when people would just post a picture of text from a Notes app if they needed more characters, rather than making people create accounts and click through things to get their message out?

I am wondering "how" much of this is actually true.
We finished it last night and it had some twists and turns I didn't expect as we went into this mostly blind.
I figure someone has figured out the rapist by now if true.
Also I read the "stalker" outed herself as Fiona Harvey.
Not sure what I think about it as a whole but depending how much of this it true Richard Gadd was an idiot. But I also get the victim part of it. It was just incredibly frustrating to watch and I guess that is the point.
I don't think I would recommend this to anyone. If asked about it I would say give it a go and make up your own mind about it. I can see why it is doing so well however.

We watched that last night. I thought Morgan would be a lot harder on her.
He went pretty easy on her IMHO.
She is clearly in need of some help.

I just finished this. It was pretty dark, but I couldn't stop watching. Very compelling story, regardless of how factual or fictional it is. The main character is such a broken person, as was, of course, his stalker.
