Melrose Place sequel series in the works again -- S: Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton, Daphne Zuniga
Like the Heroes sequel, no one has picked this up. It’s being pitched to networks and streaming services.

Has everyone forgotten that the CW already did this? I wonder if a new show would consider the CW show to be "canon", although I can't really remember much of what happened on it anyway.

Fun Fact: When the Golden Girls ended Rue McLanahan was younger then Locklear and Zuniga are now.

They tried this before with MP and with 90210. Didn't work.

The CW had a much better show that was pretty much the same concept called The L.A. Complex. I think it was a Canadian show, but it was a lot better than their Melrose Place revival. It's on Freevee now...and Youtube, it seems.

If this were to get picked up, they would have to make the CW version non-canon. For starters, Laura Leighton (Sydney) was also dead in that version. She was a figment of some character's imaginations and appeared in flashbacks.
I remember, they had Heather, Josie Bissett, Daphne Zuniga, and Thomas Calabro were all recurring characters.
The 90210 on The CW lasted 5 years. The stupid playing themselves version BH90210 on FOX was the disaster,
