Heroes: Eclipsed in the works -- Another Heroes sequel series

Yeah this is not a joke. However, no one has picked this up. It's been written and being pitched to networks and streamers.

Uh... no. Unless they scratch everything from season 2 onward which seems impossible.

Tim Kring must have a lot of dirt on people in Hollywood to keep getting work, especially another shot at Heroes.

I'm sure Greg Grunberg could use the work since his friend J.J. doesn't seem to have put anything new out lately.

... is Hollywood truly out of ideas?

But, I'll watch it.

I hate Heroes now, but season 1 was good.

I’ll admit I did mention the phrase - “Save the cheerleader, save the world” - when the eclipse was happening on Monday.

I was so pumped that first season, each episode was packed with several awesome moments we had never really seen before in television for superheroes. I do think Heroes' big success in season one led directly to WB/CW seriously attempting an "adult" superhero program like Arrow, which gave us so much material to enjoy when you consider the entire Arrowverse.

I imagine some desperate streaming outlet may take another chance on Heroes. Kring is a veteran showrunner, even if most of his shows fall apart after a season or two.

It was definitely a risk and I'm glad they took it, but we are so inundated with superheroes at the moment that I'm not sure anything about the concept really stands out, and plotwise they ran it into the ground. Sure they can do more special effects for cheaper (which was a big part of the disappointment of the original show) but I don't think it's been gone long enough to be missed, if you know what I mean.
