Under the Bridge (Hulu) S: Riley Keough, Lily Gladstone - premieres 4/17/24
"Under the Bridge” is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story of fourteen-year old Reena Virk (Vritika Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Through the eyes of Godfrey (Riley Keough) and a local police officer (Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.

I definitely will soon... but I usually wait for more (or all) episodes to become available.

I've been watching it. It's kept my interest but not a fan of the backstory stuff. It's okay but feels like filler and would rather see more of the investigation.

I watched it this weekend. Up to ep 7 anyway. Has the feel of yellowjackets about it.

I thought this was really good. At first I was a little put off because none of the main characters are very likeable--including the victim. But I appreciate that for many of them you are shown some good and bad aspects about them, the shades of gray. The writer character (Keough) is often frustrating, but her background explains why she is conflicted and not objective and at times self-destructive. I was glad that there was significant time in the last couple of episodes devoted to the trials. It's a really sad story because it was all so pointless.
I thought the actors all did a good job, including the ones playing the teenagers. "Jo" really makes you want to punch her in the face, "Kelly" is an outright psychopath, and "Dusty" was at least a somewhat sympathetic character despite her role in the event. Archie Panjabi as Reena's mom was really good, too.
Make sure and watch the epilogue text on the screen after the last scene fades to black. It gives updates on what happens to the people in subsequent years. This show is based on a true story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Reena_Virk

Just finished this.
The show had a ton of side plots going on and it might have been too much.
The writer was a strange person. The relationship or whatever it was she had with Warren was weird.
Didnt get that.
This would have been better as 4 or 5 shows instead of 8.

I watched this a few months back and thought it was decent.
Some of the characters behavior and actions are frustrating, and like the real story - the murder seemed very pointless.
Rebecca Godfrey, the writer of the book who Keough's character is based on, actually died in 2022 of lung cancer:
