Anyone watch Loudermilk?

Any fans of this show? Wife and I just binged watch this the past week. It seems the streaming platform it was on went bankrupt, but it's now being promoted on Netflix. I wish they would go for a fourth season on Netflix

Hell yes! I really like it, and have always hoped it'd be back for more.

I have no idea what this show is about but it's on my list of shows I would never watch based solely on the title.

Just finished binging this. Never heard of it before and set in Seattle and a cranky middle aged guy resonated with me. Hope for a 4th season.

Enjoyed the first two seasons when it first aired on the Audience Network, Season 3 never aired there, only Amazon. Been meaning to finally finish it.

Re: Anyone watch Loudermilk?

Watched it last month on Amazon Prime (the original home of season 3). Really enjoyed it. It found new life via TikTok/reels clips and is doing well on Netflix.

I know there is talk of a season 4 since the show was never actually canceled, and I hope that happens (let's get a third season of Sirens while we're at it too now that Animal Control is apparently doing well)

We watched the pilot a week or two ago. The ending did hook me a little. We may keep checking it out from time to time, but didn’t make us want to binge. I did not realize it wasn’t new.

I love the show. Watched it on Amazon and just saw it has moved to Netflix. Started watching it again.

It gets more bingeable after a few episodes. I feel like the first three episodes have a tad too much going on and doesn't quite find its groove.

I like to tell myself this is an unofficial three season epilogue on the story of Peter Gibbons, having changed his name to put the whole Initech fiasco behind him.

That viral scene was what got me to watch the show as well, but I found it to be not quite as funny or enjoyable as that one scene.

I think I got to the middle of the second season. It just got a little too unbelievable in parts, too non-funny and added some annoying characters. It seemed it was trying too hard. It also tries to be a Gen X Curb Your Enthusiasm at times but pales in comparison.

Watched the first two seasons when they originally aired. Just last week, I had a Facebook memory come up from two years ago, when I discovered season 3 on Prime. Would love to see a fourth!

The scene where the older woman is feeding the pet on her lap at the restaurant was funny as well.

Re: Anyone watch Loudermilk?

I've watched the first few episodes and I sort of like it. But then I'm reminded of how much better Larry David is at being an ass.

Re: Anyone watch Loudermilk?

We just blew through the first season and now are into to season 2.

Really digging this show and so is the wife.

The bar fight scene with "The New Guy" I almost pissed myself with laughter.

Just started recently on S1 and wife and I wondering why we never heard of this hidden gem before.

Absolutely delightful series so far!

Never heard of this until Netflix and while the name is terrible, the show is fantastic. Only 3 episodes in but the comedy is my type.

It's in my queue. Looks funny. I never knew about until I saw it pop up on Netflix recently.

Re: Anyone watch Loudermilk?

GatorDeb, Sirens was a great show that never really got a chance to get going. It had a fantastic cast, and revolved around a group of Chicago EMTs. I would definitely watch another season of Sirens if the original cast could be brought together for another season on a streamer like Netflix, Paramount+, or Peacock.

I keep trying to get into this show, maybe I need to let it run in the background and see if something catches my attention. I started it up but due to a lack of discipline I have drifted away from bingeing this show.

Re: Anyone watch Loudermilk?

Yeah, Sirens was a great show about EMTs that lasted two seasons on USA.

To further explain my comment, the shows creator and a couple cast members have since made their way to Animal Control, which is toned down compared to Sirens but also very likeable. Also, unlike Sirens, it looks like it's making to Season 3.
