I see some sort of box sets listed on Amazon but which seasons you actually get and if they are a mix of blu ray and regular DVD seems somewhat confusing.
I ‘own’ it on streaming but I’d like to really own some physical version.
What options are out there? I don’t even care if it’s just DVD.

I had Seasons 1 to 4 on BD, waited what seemed like forever for Seasons 5 & 6 to be released until I finally gave up. Then I found out within the last few days that they were actually finally released, used some rewards I'd been saving up and got them both. I'd say, even if (like one reviewer said) the packaging isn't crazy cool, buying that BD set would be a no brainer because The Expanse is definitely worth it.

I don't see a single thing wrong with the Complete Series packaging. It's 6 standard Viva BR cases in a paperboard slip case. Perfect. No EcoPak cases, no "premium" non-standard "collector" type package, no digipak (are those even made anymore for new releases?). Just a standard package that fits on the shelf with everything else.
