The Brothers Sun (Netflix) S: Michelle Yeoh, Justin Chien - premieres 1/4/24
When the head of a powerful Taiwanese triad is shot by a mysterious assassin, his eldest son, legendary killer Charles “Chairleg” Sun (Justin Chien) heads to Los Angeles to protect his mother, Eileen (Michelle Yeoh), and his naive younger brother, Bruce (Sam Song Li) — who’s been completely sheltered from the truth of his family until now.

That looks awesome and it’s coming in less than a month. Man, so much stuff to watch in 2024.
1st time seeing Michelle Yeoh as a villain since Strike Back. Or in this case an anti hero.

Stumbled upon this show yesterday and decided to check if there is a thread here. Right from the very first episode, it's a whole lot of fun. I hope the rest of the season manages to keep the momentum of the pilot going.

Watched the pilot the other night and agree! I think I enjoyed it a lot more than the wife, so may need to find time to finish it myself.

I don't think Netflix does themselves any favors to cancel so early. I would think they would want to see if it grows...
For someone like me for them to announce so early it is cancelled makes me think the show sucks and I shouldn't bother with it. Although most of what I have read on it is positive.
Nice to know is does not end and not a cliffhanger. This one drops to the way bottom of the list to watch for now.
