Firefox is telling me Dvdtalk is Slowing the Browser down (9.18.23)
Anyone else seeing the site taking a long time to load or messages that this site is slowing your browser?

No. I'm running an up-to-date version of Firefox (117.0.1) on an frightfully underpowered Windows 10 laptop (it's a Lenovo Celeron with 2GB of RAM I got about six years ago) right now, and I'm not seeing anything different.
It might be an ad or some kind of script that's eating up resources. Are you running an ad blocker?
Or it could be some kind of malware; you might want to do a thorough scan with Defender and something like Malwarebytes. But in my experience Firefox is very good about keeping crud off of computers. Firefox and a good ad blocker (currently UBlock Origin) combined with GMail are better than any virus scanner I've ever had. It's like surfing the 'net in an armored car.

Seems to be running normal but I'm on Chrome.

I use FireFox as an alternate browser (Vivaldi being my main - but both are running at the same time). Haven't noticed any slowdowns.

I'm also running Firefox v117.0.1 (64-bit) with uBlock Origin and AdBlock Plus on Windows 10 22H2 w/ all updates, no slowdowns or resource problems.
