Favorite movie inventions that you wish were real?
One of my favorite movie inventions is the "pizza hydrator" from Back to the Future Part II:

While we’re talking about Trek tech, just give me a holodeck and I’ll be happy.

The instant food machine in the priest's apartment in The Fifth Element. The flying street vendor selling noodles was pretty neat, too. Well, I'd take any of the flying cars, really.

Although born from TV, my first thoughts are always matter replicator and holodeck. But in keeping with the thread, both technically exist in the form of the room from The Room (2019).
Sadly, the movie fails to capitalize on its premise. Instead it becomes a pseudo live action remake of Raising Gazorpazorp.

When the technology from Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind comes into production I will be one of the first to use it to erase the memories of seeing the Prequels, Special Editions and Sequels. Drugs and alcohol don't seem to work.
But, then I will probably notice that there a Star Wars films that I haven't seen yet and then watch them. Life is cruel.

I need tech like Johnny Mnemonic or The Matrix where I can just put shit in my brain so I can finally "watch" all of the movies I own.

I want The Fifth Element medical technology. I know too many people who live with chronic pain that doesn't interest doctors, because they only want cases with easy solutions.
