i would watch this movie but I just saw the trailer and now feel like I did just watch the whole movie.

Wow this is a $20 rental. Pretty expensive straight to video rental. I had to check Fandango and it’s definitely not playing in any theaters.

Hard pass until it drops to like $6. Or better yet when it hits Red Box.

Yeah, I have notice Prime and Apple raising their rental fees. I would pay 19.99 for a blockbuster that has been out a week. But, not for these straight to video ones. Fuck that!

The price is set by the distributor, not the digital retailers. This will end up on Kanopy and Hulu soon enough, as most films by Vertical do. I don't recall their films having such a high price tag before. They must think Butler's name allows them to charge more.

Could be entertaining. Will probably buy if/when it's released to Blu-ray.

There will be a few people who will get excited seeing this new title out and be like OMG a new movie with the dude from Greenland and Olympus has Fallen, Click.

But yeah pricing DTV movies as new Hollywood Blockbusters is insane. This isn't 2020 when theaters were closed.

This reminds me of a movie that I saw when I was a kid.

Saw it in tv probably late 70’s maybe early 80’s.
It wasn’t that Kiefer Sutherland movie it was well before that.

Alright. About 1 month later, you can now rent the DVD for $2 at Red Box. I rented it last night.

It's watchable, but very generic and predictable. Yes, it's basically Breakdown. Butler is fine and is basically playing the same type of brooding action hero. But he and Alexander have no chemistry.

Russell Hornsby from Grimm is basically the cop who questions and 2nd guesses Butler and considers him a suspect. The villains and their motive was pretty lame overall. The movie is pretty low budget.

I'd give it a C. I feel for anyone who rushed and rented this for $20 a month ago.
