This was on my list of TIFF 'possibles' last year, but I just couldn't get jazzed enough to stream it, and the reviews at the time seemed to bear that out. Mind you, HOST turned out to be more effective than I thought it would be, so I'm sure I'll give this a shot eventually. I do feel like this 'screen horror' trend (or whatever it's called) is getting a little pooped out.

Host was ... decent, but I'm always game for something described as a "splatter-fest", even if it's lessened a bit by using "bonkers" too

There is some cool stuff here... later into the film, but it has one of the most unlikeable leads I have ever seen in a movie. I'm going to guess some will want to bail after 5-10 mins.

I'm usually a sucker for found footage but I found this to be one of the very worst movies I've seen. I really, really disliked all the characters. Even for found footage, the cinematography was so chaotic as to make it difficult to tell what was going on. I started to FF with about half an hour left because I realized that unless the last half hour contained the lead character getting punched in the face repeatedly, I didn't really care what happened.
Just awful, the kind of movie that makes me angry & was so bad it put me in a foul mood the rest of the evening. This was so bad, I think it killed the found footage genre for me.

Yeah, the review I saw said it was more political than expected. Warned it might get you mad.

Saw this a few nights ago.
I absolutely loved Rob Savage's previous film Host (2020) but I didn't enjoy this film.
There were some fun moments of gore but (as previously mentioned), none of the characters are remotely likeable and the cinematography is chaotic at best, diluting some of the neat set pieces the film does have.

There is a cool FF movie in here somewhere, but it's truly an achievement for experienced producers and a decent director to find, like and cast the single most annoying person in the world. Holy shit!
Am I to believe that so many people found her appealing, funny and/or liked her piss poor freestyling?
I'm honestly completely fucking baffled by that.

I rented this from Red Box and honestly I hated this movie. It was thankfully short at 89 minutes.
The lead Annie Hardy is one of the most annoying and unlikeable actors I have ever seen on a movie. She was just grating. I did not expect this to be a supernatural horror movie. Thought with the name Dashcam it would take a different route. Everyone on this film sucked and then they get into COVID and masks at one point. I guess this was filmed at some point early in the pandemic. I can't imagine the budget for this was more than $1M at best. It looked cheap.
at the freestyle rap for almost everyone's name on the credits.
If I saw this in the theatre, I might have considered walking out. I was really tempted to turn off the disc multiple times, but kept plowing through.
