The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is not even THAT bad. I don't know. The truth is, the trailers already ruined that movie for me. So I don't know if I just went in with so low expectations and accepted it, or what. All I will say is that, No Way Home made The Amazing Spider-Man 2 more relevant now.

It's really funny that so many people have Spider-Verse ranked so highly.

I say that because, A.) I don't consider it to be a Spider-Man movie like the rest since it's an animated movie, and, B.) because I just don't like it very much. I thought the handling of the Miles Morales character was poor. He was boring and uninteresting. He had no personality. And I wasn't a big fan of the takes on the other characters in the movie. The movie felt painfully long to me as a result.

Another movie that I just don't get the love for.

Maybe some of the old-timers here don't like animated movies anymore.

I liked it and saw it twice in the theater. But, I understand that when some people reach a certain age, it doesn't appeal to them anymore.

Spider-Man 3 has a lot of really good stuff going for it. What works against it are too many villains and a story that's just too complicated. However, the Harry VS Peter stuff is great, and the Sandman stuff is really good (except the retonning of who killed Uncle Ben). Including Venom was a big mistake that falls at the feet of the Sony executives who insisted he be in the movie. And, of course, there's the whole Emo Peter Parker problem, but there's more good than bad in Spider-Man 3.
