Nope (2022: W/D: Jordan Peele) S: Daniel Kaluuya, Steven Yeun, Keke Palmer
A new terror from the mind of the Academy Award winner.
In the wake of Get Out and Us comes Nope, the third horror movie from writer/director Jordan Peele that has been officially announced today with the first piece of poster art!
Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) will be reteaming with Peele on the mysterious movie, with the cast also including Steven Yeun (“The Walking Dead,” Mayhem) and Keke Palmer (“Scream”).
Universal currently has Peele’s new film set for July 22, 2022.
Plot details are under wraps for now. Stay tuned…

I thought Get Out was just ok, but I saw it way after it came out so maybe the hype ruined it for me.
On the other hand I loved Us. I’ll definitely check this out as well as the Candyman remake/sequel/reboot which I’m excited for.

'Get Out' was a good movie, although nowhere near the masterpiece it's been heralded as.
'Us' was straight up garbage.

Get Out and Us both weren't nearly as good as they're heralded to be. I'm not sure if I'm going to give this a watch or not yet.

Who would be top 5 horror directors? Certainly Peele, Aster, who else the top. Not many gems come from genre. Too many recycled, generic PG-13 shit.

He interests me though I didn't love either of his first two features, but he is a skilled filmmaker and writer. Will definitely check out Nope

List is only for movies. He's definitely up there, but Dr Sleep is his last one with no future movies coming.
GDT would be 3rd for me if I considered his last few movies horror (which I don't lol)
And I have to see what Eggers has planned after Northman...as amazing as it looks, hopefully he continues with another horror flick. Or someone comes out of the woodwork and blows us away

Very, very cool. Some nice shots there. Loved all the “tube men” deflating at once.
I’m not much of a horror fan, but I will see this.
