All the time.

off the top of my head, the first two Lord of the Rings movies had beautiful artwork for the teaser posters, followed by giant floating heads for the theatrical poster (unfortunately they shit the bed with the third teaser poster).

I’ve got several movie posters framed in my movie room. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Independence Day, Jurassic Park are all the teaser posters.

Yeah, quite a few.

I have the teaser poster for The Crow framed and hanging in my house. (Bought it at Suncoast way back in the day.)

With the death of Brandon Lee, the options for publicity shots were probably limited for the proper theatrical poster...

I absolutely love the teaser poster for The Phantom Menace with Anakin standing outside his home on Tatooine but the shadow cast behind him is Darth Vader's.

That single image is better than the whole movie.

Wasn’t quite sure what you meant at first, but I agree. This poster with nothing but the logo and date is better than the one that has the billing and credits on it.
