2020 Film Critics' Circle/Association Awards Thread
I wanted to start a thread to post all film critics' circle/association winners when they are announced (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, etc). If you see anything, please share here. Metacritic compiles a nice scorecard list too. So when I see that updated, I'll post as well. In the interim, Time magazine announced it's 10 Best Movie Performances of 2020. I'm thrilled Diane Lane is one of them.

And Da 5 Bloods might have been a huge crowd pleaser if it made it to theaters. Similar to Inside Man and Lee’s other successful movies. Just all around entertaining.

Nice for Delroy Lindo. He’s was fantastic in Da 5 Bloods.
I didn’t feel Chadwick Boseman was particularly good in D5B but I’m not surprised he won.

Weird that the first award buzz that Nomadland got was for Frances McDormond as a Best Actress lock, but she hasn't won any awards yet despite the film winning numerous awards so far, including every Best Director award for Chloe Zhao.

Re: Official 2020 Movie Critics and Industry Awards Thread
Chloe Zhao is still undefeated in the Best Director category. Weird that it’s a film it’s almost impossible to see. I guess there were a couple of virtual streaming sessions that quickly sold out.
I do wonder if there are a few movies that will be coming for the extended Oscar eligibility period but after the new year that will be Oscar contenders. Can’t imagine that anyone is still sitting on an Oscar bait movie for 2020 but is waiting until February 2021 to release it. Who knows, I guess...

I don't think it's a lock being that it is a comedic role, but it would be a very well deserved nomination for Maria Bakalova if she get's the Oscar nom.
