Bill Withers has passed away.

I just seen this on MSN.com front page. He was 81.

Wasn't he inducted into the RnR HoF just a few years ago?

Re: Bill Withers has passed away.

One could do far worse than leave behind the legacy of one brilliant song. RIP Bill Withers.

I think it's fair to say that he had more than one brilliant song.

“Ain’t No Sunshine” is simply sublime, truly beautiful yet haunting at the same time. One of the best songs ever, IMO.

RIP Bill.
