Holey Moley -- Yup, it’s definitely Summer
Watching a filler show on ABC right now called Holey Moley, an “Extreme” mini-golf competition. Sort of in the American Ninja/Wipeout format, with Rob Riggle as the comic relief. It’s incredibly stupid and banal and...awesome! Best show on ABC in years!

This Summer I'm watching:
Handmaid's Tale, Fear The Walking Dead, The 100, Legion, Swamp Things, Stranger Things, The Terror, and just finished Jessica Jones.
That's just the live-action. Plenty of animation on my Summer watchlist. =)

Someone better tell Seth Curry that they’re biting his show Holey Moley!

Funny, we’re actually watching this as well, in addition to the other ABC summer game shows. It’s fun to watch with the kids, and it’s fun watching those older shows like Press Your Luck again. But Holey Molely is pretty damn funny, especially with Riggle and his commentary. Makes me wonder why no one has started making putt-putt courses like this in town.

Gotta admit I laughed a lot at the first episode of Holey Moley. It's rather dumb, but it's so over the top it's funny. Feels like the appeal will wear off quickly, but for now, it's a fun watch. I don't know why but the girl getting smacked by the windmill had me rolling.

Summer used to be a wasteland but there are a few I look forward to each summer. America's Got Talent, Penn & Teller: Fool Us and Whose Line is it Anyway?
The last two just started back up last week. Summer just brings the fun lighthearted fare.

Krypton does not seem like it has a lot of laughs.

I gave Holey Moley two episodes. The first episode was pretty funny, especially the aforementioned woman running twice into the windmill. She had to be a plant by the producers, those windmills weren't going that fast.
The second episode fell flat for me and I likely won't give it another shot. Apparently ABC gave Steph Curry's wife free rein to produce a couple hours of weekly television, which is how he ended up hosting this program.

I only started watching the first episode towards the end before the debate.
They should do a few episodes with whole families w/kids competing.

Going to try to use these months to catch up on shows I missed the first time around. I’m a few episodes in to Outlander and Twin Peaks The Return. I’m planning on catching the last few seasons of Homeland and then a few Prime series.

Bump. Holey Moley II The Sequel starts up tonight on ABC at 9:00 pm.
I was a huge fan of the first run of Holey Moley from start to finish and this will get recorded but most likely watched as it airs tonight. Mini-Golf for the win tonight.

They've added some changes, including a final play-off between all the episode winners at the end. I rather enjoyed the first episode of "Ultimate Tag", which has a campy "American Gladiators" vibe to it, and wasn't overly padded with back-story.

Can't believe people actually watch this crap. Now if you excuse me, I'm heading back to YouTube for more marble races. I think Marbly McMarbleface might take the next one. He's due.

I'm watching and laughing my ass off. I was not a big fan of the first season and skipped it after not liking the first episode. What I think is great is the MXC style of it. I don't really care about the mini golf but the challenges are funny. That pole challenge was hilarious! I wish MXC was back on spikeTV or whatever it's called now.

I like the idea for this but would like to see more actual mini golf in this.
Someone mentioned putt-putt.
last week espn aired some old putt putt golf tourney, had to be from the 80’s.
Those PP courses must have been the most boring mini golf games around.
All the holes were straight on to the hole with zero obstacles.
Anyway I’d rather a real mini golf game show and bring back Wipeout for the crazy obstacle courses.

The woman who spun a few times on the pole before being flung off was just the height of hilarity. Also, that chick who decided to jump in the water after an eternity instead of being smacked into the water by the windmill blades, well...I actually think she made the right choice because the second windmill seems to be the one that folks have less stress getting past.
Speaking of, the woman she was originally matched up with had curves and a body made for twerking (and I am not a fan of twerking, but am aware it is a thing that certain ladies do to draw attention to themselves).
I enjoy how absurd the show is...Rob Riggle texting Steph about how lame the Beaver hole was (the lack of water on the log roll portion did have me scratching my head), both hosts wondering why a certain hole was known as hole number 2, Jon Lovitz making fun of how his career path led him to be a stunt player on a show like Holey Moley, oh yeah...actual dragon flames engulfing the players, what's not to love?
Whotony, I get what you are saying but still think the second season of Holey Moley will be at least as good as the first.

That zipline jumping to the pole obstacle didn't look safe at all. I'm surprised their insurance allowed it. That looked very dangerous considering how fast someone can come off a zipline.

Roger that Phantom, I did wonder last night what type of waiver the contestants must be required to sign...it must be a doozy because I can see some folks coming away with bruised ribs after slamming into that pole...padding or not.
