Looking at the run times of this seasons episodes and the way the first one played, it looks a lot like the show runners wrote this six episodes as what could have been two long theatrical movies. I know they were told by HBO they couldn't do that, but I have a feeling they may have been holding out hope even after they wrapped shooting the season.

So a big character episode. I guess that means a shit load are going to die next week. I hope that isn’t the case.

Tormund is the best.

Oh... also I was a bit creeped out with the Arya sex scene.

Glad to see Jon broke the latest news to Dany before the end of the ep.

Brienne is finally a Knight! Tormund's joy at being around her again was awesome and hilarious

Writing was on the wall in the premiere when Yara said she was going back to the Iron Islands to make sure it is secure in case Winterfell needs to retreat.

Shit load of characters are goners next episode.

It creates drama, but it's a stupid thing for the character to do. Hey, let's piss off

And who knew Arya was a real girl with real lady parts. I thought when she became faceless, she also became gender less.
That was only part that made me cringe tbh

It was Podrick, not Gendry.

Gendry was showing Arya his spear...
