I just posted on my FB wall that I've always said this was the best music video ever made.

Sad that he passed on Christmas, considering he wrote one of my least favorite Christmas standards, "Last Christmas".

Other than that, I thought he was a heck of an artist. He performed much of his album Listen Without Prejudice, Volume One himself, and it's always been one of my top 10 favorite albums. I've always considered it an underappreciated work.

I cannot fucking believe that 2016 managed to kick us in the nuts once again. I loved George Michael's music. Great songwriter and performer. 2016 needs to fuck off and die already.

With the way 2016 has went for 80's Music Icons, I hope Madonna and Janet Jackson are somewhere safe right now.

As a child of the 80's who grew up with MTV, most of the singers who dominated that decade have died prematurely:

Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince and now George Michael.

Wasn't a major fan, but liked some of his stuff (probably more than I was willing to admit to anyone at the time ) Regardless, I'm saddened by his passing and curse 2016 for taking another artist/celebrity/talent from us.

I've been a big fan for as long as I can remember. Very sad news.
