Need help ID'ing a movie

It's a horror movie released within the last few years. At the beginning, this really odd acting girl gets picked up in a bar/club by some guy. She goes back to his motel room. I think his friends join them to party. The girl is some type of vampire/monster. She starts killing everyone even sprouting wings and flying after one of her victims. Thanks in advance for any help!

How about this one (from a friend)?

i saw a trailer maybe a few years ago and i was yearning to see the movie but i forgot the name. the trailer had a writer or teacher who was walking to his car and being accosted by an ardent female fan. he drove off while she was still talking to him. does this sound familiar at all?

what are the odds that VHS? was the one to provide the correct answer in the first shot?

The first thought that came to mind was WONDER BOYS, that film with Michael Douglas and Robert Downey Jr. I only saw the trailer for that but that's what I immediately thought of. Don't know if that's it or not.

Probably better than the odds for Beta.

Re: Need help ID'ing a movie

Since the OP has been helped, can someone assist me?

I remember an early-to-mid '90s film about a bunch of Gen -Xers growing up and dealing with responsibility. Very much in the same tone as Singles.

I remember a character by the name of Toad, who I believe either committed suicide or almost did. I could have sworn it was called South by Southwest (yes, like the music festival) but that's not it. Reward for the person who helps me!

Thanks Ash, but no. I'll try to get some more details from him.

I don't see Toad as a character name in anything similar to what you describe on IMDB.

Can't be Reality Bites can it?

Not Realty Bites. It was a very small independent film.

Re: Need help ID'ing a movie

I've got one I need help with, if was from around 10 or 20 years ago, it featured a male and a female and they got into trouble with the law or something. Oh, and they had a car. That's all I've got.

Thanks in advance!

I've got one! it was a movie, sometime in the past 75 years. In color, maybe B&W. With actors, and sound, although could have also been a silent film. Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure it's To Live and Die in LA.

Ok, I have a bit more info:

it was a very indie-looking film, drama with a touch of disturbing rom-com perhaps? as i recall the fan and the teacher/writer end up having some sort of difficult dalliance
