I just noticed that when I purchase items at Amazon.com, they will be giving me 5% back on my purchase. For large $ purchases that offer financing, I have to decide between the financing offer and the 5% back. This rebate is for purchases after 3/16/15.

Just for store card or for their cc too?

I believe it is only their store card. I received an email this afternoon explaining the program. The 5% offer only applies to prime members who have their store card. They are calling the card an "Amazon Prime Store Card".

Also, you have to be the primary prime member. It doesn't work if you're sharing an account.

Their store card wasn't getting as much activity as their Rewards card.

I should know as I stopped using the store card once I received the Rewards Visa.

Yeah, the store card is going to get the bulk of my buying from now on with this deal since I pay my credit card off every month. I will use it just like I use my Target Visa card. Get the 5% and pay it off each month. I used to only use it for one or two big purchases a year if they qualified for the 0% interest.

i used their store card for nearly all my amazon purchases, so this just gives me slightly more incentive to buy stuff there than other places.
