Update from WB Shop

This showed up in my inbox today

Ownership of the shops at wbshop.com, hobbitshop.com, harrypottershop.com, and shopdcentertainment.com (the "WB Shops") has been transferred to a separate company, Bolder Road LLC. The look and feel of the WB Shops will not change and Bolder Road will continue to offer the same great Warner Bros. products and special offers — and maybe some exciting new ones.

As part of this transfer, information collected at the WB Shops, including past purchases, will also be transferred to Bolder Road. Please check out the Bolder Road privacy policy and terms of use.

At Warner Bros., we will always value our relationship with you as fans of The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, DC Entertainment, and other WB brands. If you have signed up to receive offers and updates about any of these brands, you will continue to receive them. We, of course, will continue to honor your marketing preferences and you can opt-out at any time by following "unsubscribe" instructions in our communications.

We'd also like your permission to keep a copy of your purchase history (including video titles) at the WB Shops so that we can continue to develop and offer products in line with our fans' interests. Please give your permission by clicking the button below.

By clicking "Confirm," I give Warner Bros. permission to keep information about my past purchases from the WB Shops.
This makes zero sense. Warner sold their online stores to a third-party? I guess I'm glad I bought Blus from the last Warner Archive sale because I think I'm done with them. I am not going anywhere near the Confirm button.

Re: Update from WB Shop

Their prices are ridiculous even with promo codes.

Who wants to pay $79.98 for Luck Season 1 Blu-ray/DVD Combo?

Re: Update from WB Shop

I'm a little concerned about product support. With WB running the show, I had no doubt a bad disk would be replaced, as long as it was in my order history. Now it looks like order history cuts off at about 3 years. The cost-cutting commences.
