Redbox Price Increases: BD - $2, DVD - $1.50, Games - $3
Redbox has announced that they're raising their prices:
With the increase in free codes popping up, it's been a while since I've paid for a rental from Redbox. That's probably the reason for the price increase. 
Starting December 2, the price for DVDs will increase 30¢ to $1.50 a day, and the price for Blu-ray™ Discs will increase 50¢ to $2 a day. Starting January 6, the price for video games will increase $1 to $3 a day.

It may not seem like much, but it is enough to push them over the threshold. My local video store is a better value and more convenient. They have pulled the Redbox out of our town and the one from the grocery store we frequent. Even most of my free codes go unused anymore.
