A few months back there were commercials on TV for a new action flick, and it was touted as -This generations "Heat"-. I believe there was also a similar movie with Ben Affleck in it, my memory is shot, and it may actually be the same movie to tell you the truth. If they are two different movies or the same movie regardless, can anyone tell me the title(s), and when the be availability on blu-ray and DVD? Thanks in advance!!!

As for a Blu-ray/DVD release date, Amazon has it listed as a December 17th release.

I think Takers had a pull-quote from a critic that compared it with Heat in one way or another, most likely being that were both projected onto a movie screen. I think it comes out on DVD in December, also.
