Actors you've appreciated more since their deaths?

I am not talking about people who died way before your time, like the Charlie Chaplins and such, but ones that were around and then past either suddenly or from old age while you were around to appreciate them, but never really did until after they passed.

For me: it is John Candy. I liked him when he was around, but after he passed i really went back and took a look at his career and enjoyed his older stuff so much more and appreciated what he brought and most of it was pretty amazing in my eyes.

i still get emotional at the end of Unlce Buck and Planes, Trains and Automobiles because i realize i will never see something like this from him again.

I should have bought the poor bastard's crap when I had the chance. Sure it was all junk, but it would have been cool to build a shrine to him, now that he's dead.

Why is he signing a Gamecube Sonic game? Did he have something to do with it? or was he signing just anything he owned?

Ritter is an excellent choice. I still watch Sling Blade and view his performance as top-notch.

I just realized now that Harrison Ford is already seen as more legendary than Errol Flynn even now that the other guy has long been dead, that when he goes people will actually be amazed someone like him could have lived in our relatively magicaless modern era, he'll be seen as downright mythical.

Heath Ledger

I finally saw Brokeback Mountain after he passed and thought he was amazing. He put in great performances into Monster's Ball and I'm Not There as well.

All of them, to a degree.
