Warner Home Video has announced a DVD release of Inception for December 7th. Retail will be around $28.98. Extras will include featurettes ("The Inception of Inception", "The Japanese Castle: The Dream is Collapsing", "Constructing Paradoxical Architecture - Designing the Staircase to Nowhere", "The Freight Train - Constructing the Street-Faring Express Train").

Wow, the DVD actually comes with some good sounding features.
Hoping that limited briefcase set is US ready too. I hear the Blu has an exclusive 5.1 soundtrack only track, which I hope is true as I feel Zimmer should sweep the Score awards this year.

I'll be getting this one for sure. Didn't catch it in theaters,( I go to the theater maybe once a year anyway, thats why I buy DVD's so much!),But I heard nothing but great things about this film-

I actually haven't seen the movie, but I've already preordered the BD/DVD from Columbia House since I was able to get it cheap and based on the all the good reviews I've read.

Will the UK Inception be without region encoding? If so then i will grab a copy of the briefcase when i am over there at Christmas.
Update: Seems like it is. Will certainly grab it now. Why did they only release 2000 briefcase copies in the US through the WB store and not have it out on shelves like in the UK?
