DVD resurfacing companies in Philadelphia?
Looking for a company that does quality DVD resurfacing (scratch removal). I actually live in central PA, not the Philadelphia region, but figure the chance of finding such a company in Philly is much higher than around here. And I get out that way often enough. Or might there be a list of such businesses somewhere? I did a couple forum searches but the only company names that came up were mail order only.
If all else fails, I'll either resort to mail order (any recommendations?) or visit one of those business search web sites and make a few phone calls.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Do you have like a crap-tonne of discs needing fixing? Or just a few?
Here in the Chicago suburbs there's a chain of used CD/DVD stores that each have their own resurfacing machines that they use and I believe you can take your own stuff in and pay a small fee to have them done.

Thanks for the reply. That's good to know...but I don't live anywhere near Chicago.
(I was in Chicago roughly 18 months ago, and will say that you have the best public transportation I've ever seen, short of NYC.)
For now it's just one disk, and whether it absolutely *needs* fixed is questionable, but it is OOP and I'd like to make sure it's around for a while yet.

Sorry, I wasn't clear, what I meant was I don't think there's going to be a company out there listing themselves as a "DVD resurfacing" company. You might have to find something related and go from there, like find local used DVD shops in your area and see if they have those machines.

Absolutely, and I am willing to do that if necessary. But I wanted to pose the question first, in case somebody could save me the extra work.

Nope, not yet. I never made my planned Philadelphia trip, but see the details in my PM. I can append to this thread when/if I find a "local" resurfacing company.
