Alien (new 35mm print) AFI Silver Sept 11-17

Having been shown at the Film Forum (NYC) in July, the AFI Silver will be presenting this next month September 11 -17th. As anyone who can atest and seen the film in the theatre, this was meant to be experienced on the large screen - it's a lot more scarier. I saw a 70mm print at the Uptown as a reissue, and I was digging my fingernails into the arm of my chair during the airduct scene.

I was trying to get to Film Forum to see this. I don't see myself making the drive down to the Silver though.

Alamo Drafthouse print for the special release of A L I E N. I missed out on this. The variant version glows in the dark.

i assume that this will be the original version (and not the directors cut right?). Also the week after, they're playing a new print of Easy Rider

^ well if it IS what the Forum had, then it will be the director's cut, since it's what's advertised in the link in post #1.
