Typical, cliched, but def could be fun. I'm all for good vs. evil flicks and this looks to be right up that alley.

Needs more shotgun violence. But it will probably be better than the other shit coming out in January.

Just watched the trailer before finding this thread. Kind of a unique armageddon scenario. Could be a controversial premise though, lol, (going against the will of god) should be interesting...

Damnit...just saw it on traileraddict. Anyway...looks kinda cool. Seems like the director is a first. Doing some film called Priest, something about priest that disobeys church law to track down the vampires who kidnapped his niece (imdb). Anyway..looks fun. Bettany is an actor I'm just getting to know so it's all good.

I've been pleased with what I've seen of Bettany's work over the years ....and his' wifes . I'm willing to check this out.

Looks like a cross between Constantine & Dawn of the Dead. Completely ridiculous (angels with machine guns?), but might be fun. Won't see it in theaters unless there's good word of mouth, but will try it out on DVD.

Wow, I was laughing at the Granny part when I saw this trailer last night but by the end of it I was like, "wow, that kinda seems cool". I have a thing for films with Angels especially if they're badass and if the filmakers go all out and give them wings. But then again that's how I got fooled into seeing Max Payne....

I saw the trailer and Paul Bettany really reminds me of the Neil Gaiman version of the devil from the Sandman comics. I'll probably go watch it.

I think tofu meant that Bettany looks like the devil from The Sandman comics. How did the comics end btw? Was it an amazing ending to his work?

Looks cool. Do I have it right that the devil (or an archangel) is there to go against God's will, and in turn, keep mankind here on Earth? So the kid is the second coming of Christ or something? Seems like an interesting premise.

The Max Payne comments amuse me. I never played the game. And I also thought it was going to be have some supernatural angels vs demons aspect.

You've never read the end of Sandman? I'm not going to spoil it for you. Suffice it to say that it meets Gaiman's high standards.

I saw this trailer the other day and nearly died at that grandma part. I think it'll be worthy of a viewing.

This another Hollywood liberal attept to make a end of times movie based on the bible. And like in politics the producers don't tell it like it is written.
