Of course, one could question the moral substance of the linked article. It basically encourages nerds to sell out their core values and continue to be with a lesser woman just on the off chance they might lose their virginity.

In 1997 my wife, who I was only dating at the time, had never seen Star Wars, so she got to see them for the first time on the big screen during the SE re-release. Aside from what you may think of the SE's she was pretty lucky to get to see them on the big screen first. I never got that opportunity. It was interesting to see her reaction. She really liked Star Wars, she thought Empire was scary, and I could tell she found Jedi boring.
