Top Five CGI Characters
List your favorite CGI characters in terms of quality and reality of the CGI, not which one's you thought were better characters. I start this thread with Avatar in mind. My list may change after I see that film.
1) Davy Jones- ILM (Pirates of the Caribbean 2 and 3)
2) Devastator- ILM (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen)
3) King Kong- WETA (Peter Jackson's King Kong)
4) Gollum- WETA (Lord of the Rings)
5) Yoda- ILM (Star Wars II and III)
Your turn..........

Re: Top Five CGI Characters
I couldnt list them but my top 5 would be ones that I didnt even notice were CGI.
That to me is a truly great indication of quality in CGI. Not even noticing it.

The only thing they did digital to the faun was to erase Doug Jone's legs in that bright green fabric. EVERYTHING on the faun itself though is a physical part of the suit..even the legs...look at the special features on the faun..great stuff. Del Toro is really original with thinking of the simplest things where others would totally go complex.
