Anyone who has heard this hit song will agree that it is probably the most evil, insensitive jaunty song post Watergate.

Hahaha!!! Of course, I don't have to ask that you know the song is satirical and anti-prejudicial. I know I don't. Right?

They almost banned the song in Maryland...now that would have been interesting.

They drive little cars that go "beep beep beep"...
I remember in the 70s there were urban legends going around that dozens of midgets hung themselves because of the song... that they put the LP on their turntable, stuck their heads in the nooses, and kicked the chairs away.
I know that shouldn't make me laugh.

How'd they reach the ceiling to tie up the rope, though? That's how you know it's an urban legend.

I wish someone would start a business so I could hunt them in their natural habitat.
kinda like 'The Most Dangerous Game', expect with midgets instead of people.
Imagine Teddy R. on a safari in..I dont know...lets say, Canada.. Hunting the lil' bastards! I mean talk about the thrill of the hunt!...Of course, they say its only a 3rd as exciting as hunting man.

I hear Randy Newman is a racist redneck too because he has a song that goes:
We're rednecks, rednecks
And we don't know our ass from a hole in the ground
We're rednecks, we're rednecks
And we're keeping the n*gg**s down
We're rednecks, rednecks
And we don't know our ass from a hole in the ground
We're rednecks, we're rednecks
And we're keeping the n*gg**s down

The first time I remember hearing this song, it was on some TV variety show. They had a basketball setup and the players were singing it at this short woman who wanted to play with them but they wouldn't let her, and she kept saying "PLEASE? PLEASE??" Does this sound familiar to anyone and does a copy of it exist anywhere?

^Yeah, that really does sound familiar. It would exist on Youtube if anywhere.
