Sounds utterly ridiculous, but I have faith in John Cusack's taste in scripts. Fletch lives!

I thought ACCEPTED was a very underrated comedy. Steve Pink is pretty damn good IMO. The cast sounds great, the concept is out there and hilarious so I think this one should be something special.

Red-Band Trailer

Sounds like it could be awesome...or horrible.

Trailer was pretty plain...

Rob Corddry can go fuck himself that no-talented piece of shit hack.

The trailer is very unimpressive and it doesn't help matters we have the director of Camp Nowhere 2 directing this.

I was more excited when the guys behind Sex Drive were attached to writing and directing (possibly where Clark Duke's involvement comes into play); but with the exception of Duke and Craig Robinson, I don't see this becoming a piece of quality (especially with Cusack just saying "fuck" to say it). I'd love to be proven wrong though.

I thought with Cusack's involvement this could be watchable, but that is one unfunny trailer. They couldn't even bother including any 80's footage?

I was wondering the same, it's weird to have a movie about travelling back in time and all the trailer shows is them talking about the possibility of it.

Well, considering they are still shooting and just threw this together to show something at the Con, I'm not surprised the teaser sucks. Clark Duke looks like the best part so far. Hopefully the movie will feel less rough than this teaser does.

That trailer was lame, lame, lame!

Wasn't this teaser aimed at the Comic Con audience (it debuted there) -- so it makes sense. Plus, the movie just finished filming less than 2 weeks ago.

Anyway, looks funny. Cusack rarely makes bad movies.

have you seen John Cusack's imdb? He hasn't had a hit since High Fidelity.

I liked Runaway Jury, and I know lots of people love Con Air.

I thought the trailer looked amusing.

Who doesn't love Con Air is the better question? I love Cusack as an actor (Better Off Dead and Say Anything are two of my all time favorites), but to be honest, he hasn't made a consistent film in over a decade.

I still feel Corddry is the kiss of death for any film. The man is overrated, not funny, and brings his same goddamn shtick to every fucking film he is in.

All films I've seen once and would never see again (with the exception of Harold and Kumar, I can just fast forward over his scenes, but it's a film that gets progressively worse on multiple viewings).

I haven't seen Wellville, but out of the 9 movies you list above, I liked 7 of them. Loved War Inc, America's Sweethearts, and Con Air. Runaway Jury was also a good one and Serendipity is one of the better romantic comedies I've sat through. And I believe America's Sweethearts made more bank than High Fidelity.

Weren't 1408 and Identity recent Cusack films? Those were good as well.

Let's not forget 2012, that's got Oscar written all over it.

The trailer is a huge step up from the original red-band trailer, but I really wish Rob Corddry would just quit acting.

Still upsets me that the creative team behind Sex Drive didn't stay on board as it looks like Clark Duke and Craig Robinson, will yet again, steal the show from everyone else.

Actually looks funny to me. I hadn't heard of this until just now. I like the ridiculous premise, even if it does look like a rip-off of Pleasantville, with Chevy taking over for Don Knotts.

Since this is a movie set in the 80's at a ski resort with John Cusack, if there isn't a great Better Off Dead reference, I won't be able to totally love it. But it looks funny.

They really ought to get Curtis Armstrong to make a cameo.

There are two options:

1. Two tickets to attend a free screening.

2. Host ticket with 9 additional tickets for a total of 10 free admissions, free soda & popcorn for the group, and free T-shirts.

I suggest that if you want to do the group option, check the all theater options near you. I live in Riverside, CA and wanted to host at The Block at Orange but the group tickets were gone. I checked Sherman Oaks and they still had the option for the group passes.
