Seether remakes George Michael's Careless Whisper
It is funny that now a song from 1984 might be considered a classic and an alternative hard rock band remakes it in 2009.

anything has to be better than Limp Bisquick's Faith. Not that Faith's a fave or anything, but I hated them as soon as I heard that

I think the cover is OK, it was worth the .99 on itunes...what's weird is this song has been out for months and I'm only now reading about it all over the place... maybe Seether's record company finally decided to try and do some promotion or something...

Not a Seether fan or a fan of that style of rock by any means, but that cover actually isn't too bad. I give them credit for honoring the original melody while putting enough of their own stamp on it to avoid being redundant

Not a bad cover at all.

Ah its just a rock band that wants it song played over and over at a top 40 station.
and I thought they did this for artistic reasons

Just listened to the cover for the first time, and I like what I heard. And the original is 25 years old, so who is it not to say it cannot be considered a classic!?

It's very good indeed and I have listened to alot covers of Careless Whisper.
I have been a fan of George Michael since "UK-Fantasic 1982" ((Yeah I am dating myself a little)).
