DVD Talk review of 'Johnny Got His Gun'
I read Jeffrey Kauffman's DVD review of Johnny Got His Gun at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=36649 and was pleased that he admires this film as much as I have since it was released so many decades ago. This has been on my own DVD wish list from the beginning of DVD and this is the first time I even knew they had released it in this format. I've always felt that it was one of the finest movies of Timothy Bottoms' career and up there with his work in Bogdanovich's wonderful "The Last Picture Show." Excellent review.

Thanks, Ron. It may not be the most "polished" film you've ever seen, but it packs an emotional wallop that those megaplex big budget corporate affairs can't even come close to.
