Sorry if this has been asked or is a double post. They have the Samsung HL61A750 at Conn's for $999.99. I've been looking into getting an HD TV. This is the lowest I've seen it. Opinions on the price? Thanks for any input.

$999.99!!! I thought $1299.99 was a great deal. Get it man!! Mine should be here this week. I got two shipping confirmations today, must be both the stand and the tv. Come on Superbowl party!

For the price, it's a smokin' deal, but I did go look at this LED DLP set and compared it with the bulb-based/colorwheel models from Samsung and Mitsubishi, and I wasn't too thrill at the dark details that get lost (the main example is when you look at hair details on people's head, and the LED picture just never resolved the hair details as well as the other bulb-based models. But other that that quibble, if you can get the 750 model for $1K, I doubt you'd regret the expenditure (but at $1300-$1500, then the decision get a little dicey for me, at least).

Looks like Conn's is only in Texas.
