Just a heads up. I just ordered this by following the second link (in the first post). And an additional $10 was taken off, listed as "promotion applied" (as far as I know, I didn't accidentally sign up for anything to get this promotion). I still got the Supersaver shipping discount, so I ended up paying only $17.95 shipped for the 2 Kill Bill Blu-Ray's.

Ah, I know what it is. Amazon screwed up an order of mine in the summer. As a courtesy for my inconvenience, the customer service rep gave me credit in my account. I just forgot about it! Carry on (still a nice deal, @ $14 a Blu-Ray)

I swore I'd hold off on buying this in any incarnation until The Whole Bloody Affair version was released, but at $28 for both Blu-rays, I had to bite! $14 a piece is QUITE a deal considering the next best price is about $50 for the pair.

Thinking of buying them just to trade in the Exchange Forum.

Even if they do, which I think they do not, the discussion in one of the other threads was that Buena Vista Home Entertainment was not honoring the rebate with the "Amazon bundle".

I'll have to find that thread.

This is why I hate paying close to retail for movies.

Damn it.

If they don't have the rebate forms enclosed, you can call Buena Vista customer support and they'll mail them to you. I've requested forms for The Rock, Con Air, and National Treasure and got them in about a week.

Buena Vista is pretty terrible at including rebate forms in their releases.

See post #170 of this thread:

Kill Bill 1 & 2 BLU-RAY 9/9/08

... seems like BHVE may have had a change of heart about providing the rebate, but it may not be $10 each, and there is no confirmation of anyone actually receiving the rebate yet.

Can I use Bill Me Later since the original price of the two were over $50? Or does it use the current price in the cart for it?

Great price. I just know if I wait, though, these will dip lower -- or the Whole Bloody Affair will appear. Still, I may kick myself when this deal ends up being the best price a long time. Although, $13.99 at Frys seems likely in the future... given the current pricing on promos there.
