Sub Hook-up Question

For as much as I know about HT and wiring, etc I have never hooked up my sub differently than the first time I did it.

My sub used to sit 5' from my receiver and connected via a Y cable.

I now redid my living room (pics to follow) and when I ran my sub cable in wall I just used a cable that is a single RCA on each end as instructed by the dude I was buying my equipment from.

I am not getting it though. I have an HSU VTF2 and am kind of lost as to what I hook up my single connection to.

Some subwoofers function best with the signal fed not to one, but two, inputs--if you're in doubt about whether to feed signal to one or to two inputs, consult the manual for your subwoofer.

Connect to the sub out on the receiver and the sub in on the sub, you don't need the "y" unless your manual says to use one.

I actually shot an e-mail over to Dr. Hsu at HSU Research because I had another question to ask him and he replied (from california) in 10 minutes.

Said all I need to do is connect it to either the left or right rca connection.

that is another reason I love HSU.

And thanks Brian!
