Batman: The Brave and the Bold coming to Cartoon Network
Just saw this at tv.com:

Cartoon Network just held its upfront in New York today. They released a good chunk of info about their upcoming schedule and a slew of new images. To be honest I had no idea there even was a BATMAN: THE BRAVE & THE BOLD cartoon in the works! I'm soooo excited! I think I'd seen it mentioned somewhere once but it went in one ear and out the other. But to be surprised by new pictures... wow!
Check out the new Blue Beetle!

I don't know about batman but that 3d clone wars looks great.
Oh for anyone that has dropped comics, the old blue beetle was shot in the head. Batman didn't kill him but he died because batman was being a ass.

Is that what that Booster Gold story arc did? I love Ted but the New BB is cool too.
Anyway, I guess ending The Batman makes sense now that this new series has been revealed. I'm looking forward to it.

From those two pictures, it looks like shit. Obviously, I'll reserve judgment, but I don't get why they'd cancel The Batman for this.

I'll wait to see some finished animation before commenting on the style.
I (and many others) didn't really care for The Batman animation at first, but grew to like it.

I was kinda hoping with the title.. it would be animated more int he art style of Jim Aparo. Oh well.. maybe when they have a Batman and the Outsiders cartoon.

That is what i have been wondering too. Why does DC and WB have to re-create a new version of Batman for cartoons every 2 years now? The awesome thing about the 90's DC animated series was that the same canon was used for everything and it was interesting and dark, like Batman is supposed to be. Now they want to dumb it down again to kids and put a lighter Batman that could borderline on campy and destroy the overall image of the character.

No it doesn't but it would be cool if they do the B&tB's that Adams and Aparo did; they had the best stories. Those were the two best runs of the series. I have every issue Adam's drew.

Diedrich Bader is the NEW Voice of Batman.

From the Promo Art, I would Batman looks like the Dick Sprang version from the Mid-1940's to the early 1960's.
Which looks good to me.
