Don't know if I'm going to watch tonight, might check it out On Demand, at least I can avoid the commercials.

But, good to see it back finally.

They also made another revised credit sequence. I'm a sucker for those things, so I always watch them and notice the changes.

It's probably a fair bet that Grissom was speaking to Sara on the phone at the end.

New haircuts for the entire cast.

Anyone care to spoiler the final 5 minutes for me? I missed it.

1) The guy's father in law killed him. He stuffed a rag by the manifold - so it would catch on fire, and before he left his house he painted the tags on the car.

2) The gang leader was about to be released, but they did not know how he was giving orders to his gang to have his place torched. Grissom found out that pages were missing from the books he was checking out of the library. The guy was writing messages on pages with his urine (which when heated turns brown - I used to do this with lemon juice as a kid).

They found a page that had orders to kill the DA.
------Which makes no sense because he was going to be released and could have given the order himself - why you would give the order to someone in prison, who then has to communicate it with someone on the outside. Makes no sense.

3) Grissom gets phone call - smiles and says hello

Thanks CPA.

So the GSW was still merely accidental from the fire?

I don't know if any of you noticed, but in the new opening credits all the cast member names were out of safe title for 4X3 TV screen. They were all cut off and not readible. I guess they were designed for a 16X9 TV screen or something.

I don't know what GSW is - but if you are talking about the gun - then yes it did go off because of the fire..

I know...weird huh?

The credit names floating outside the 4:3 safe area was the only thing I didn't notice. Cool.

I wonder if Bonnie Bedelia is going to be a semi-regular. It'd be nice to see Ms. Holly Gennaro-McClane from time to time.

WAAYYY more enjoyable than than the last three eps of Miami combined.

She always deserved a bigger career. You ever see Heart Like A Wheel?
